Information of the project
In early July 2023, Sao Nam Company completed the Grid-Connected Solar Power system for a farm in Ben Tre province.
With the total installed capacity of this project, it can generate a large amount of electricity each year, helping to reduce the pressure on electricity costs for farm owners. On the other hand, livestock farms use electricity to produce 3 prices, so installing a “clean energy” system from Sao Nam is extremely necessary, minimizing the large cost of electricity in the peak hour electricity price frame. From there, the amount of CO2 emitted into the environment every year is significantly reduced, helping the farm build a “green brand”, increasing the level of competitiveness in the market, because 75% of customers today prioritize choosing green products (according to a survey by Nielsen). At the same time, they are equivalent to planting thousands of trees each year, contributing to protecting the clean atmosphere of the earth.
The above benefits are shown through the following specific parameters:
– Installed capacity: 51.75 kWp.
– Electricity produced: ~ 6,000 kWh/month.
– Electricity savings: ~14,300,000 VND/month.
– CO2 emissions reduction: ~30.56 tons/year.
– Additional trees planted: ~1,403 trees/year.
In particular, the new technology “DC-Optimized” of SolarEdge – a famous Israeli brand has been used in this project. This is the world’s leading brand of inverters for the electricity industry with many factories worldwide, including Vietnam. Sao Nam Integrated Technology Joint Stock Company is a major distributor and technical supporter of SolarEdge in the domestic market.
When using the above advanced technology, Ben Tre farm will be guaranteed more fire safety than traditional technology. On the other hand, getting the maximum capacity of each photovoltaic panel will produce more electricity. Even in the case of shading, the amount of electricity generated is not much reduced compared to previous technology. Another outstanding advantage of SolarEdge technology is that farm owners can monitor and control each solar panel specifically via the “mySolarEdge” application on their phones at any time and place.
This is a long-term and effective investment for the future comprehensive development of livestock farms in Ben Tre province.
